Another idiot bike rider.

This is another story of a bicycle rider doing something foolish. This one is now suffering with some pretty bad injuries. This guy decided to cross the Big Sioux River on the train bridge that spans between Iowa and South Dakota. In the process of doing so he fell from the bridge, hit a bridge piling on the way down and landing on a log in the river.

Less than a quarter mile away there is the regular traffic bridge he should have used.

People doing stupid shit like this and having to be rescued because of it puts fire fighters lives at risk. I think he should be charged with tresspassing and what ever else he could be cited for plus he should be made to pay for the rescue.
